About Expatease
Expatease (ExpatEase GmbH, Munich) is the English-speaking platform that brings financial planning, insurance, taxes, visa & legal, relocation, healthcare and schools for expats in Germany into one place. Founded in 2023 by Sebastian Arold, it combines its own advisory team with a vetted partner network and offers a free first consultation.
What we do
Moving to Germany means dozens of decisions in a system built for locals. Expatease gives expats one English-speaking address for all of them: financial planning and insurance, taxes, visa & legal, relocation, healthcare, schools and corporate benefits for employers. The first conversation is free, and there is no fee for the financial plan.

Sebastian is a physicist and entrepreneur. After more than ten years of advising expats in Germany as a financial planner with HORBACH, he founded ExpatEase GmbH in Munich in 2023 and runs it as managing director. Having studied in California and spending part of every German winter in South Africa, he knows the expat perspective from both sides — and built Expatease so that finance, insurance, taxes, visa, housing, healthcare and schools have one English-speaking address.
